[REVIEW] Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum

Wednesday, October 31, 2018

Hi, guys!

Fiiinaaally, I get to post a review again! Sorry for being out of the radar for the past few months, I got too caught up with running errands. Anyway, I'm so excited to introduce my very first serum from the Korean skincare staple. I've noticed that I've been testing out a lot of Korean sheet masks, but I never really got into their serums. So, here it goes!

This serum retails for USD $25.00 for 80.00 mL.

I love that this serum comes with its little cap to cover the lid! So, this serum is travel-friendly because when you put it into your skincare bag, it won't spill everywhere! The packaging is also made from a plastic material.

You can read the full ingredients from the Innisfree website. But, I want to point out the first 5 ingredients listed: Water, propanediol, alcohol, glycerin and betaine. Does something caught your attention? Yes, it contains alcohol as their third ingredient list! What a surprise. However, they have glycerin next to it, soo I think it will balance out the drying effect from alcohol? Okay that sounds weird and it just blurted out from my head. At first, I didn't really notice the ingredients because I was too excited to try this serum, especially after reading so many good reviews about it. My best friend actually recommended me to try this out, and she has similar skin problems like mine (Combination, dehydrated and acne-prone skin), so I thought, why not give this a try? Although, I wouldn't recommend this to the people who have sensitive skin because of the alcohol and fragrance in this serum.

My Best Investment For My Skin So Far!

Friday, August 3, 2018

Hi, guys!

Today, I'm going to talk about something a lil' bit different. I'm going to introduce you all to the new era of smart cleansing device. I know that most of you have probably heard one of the forms of smart cleansing device such as cleansing brush -- which you already know which one I'm talking about, but oh boy, the trend is changing! It's a time for us to try out the silicone brush!

PMD Clean by PMD Beauty is a self-standing smart cleansing device with a silicone brush head that is equipped with SonicGlow technology that supposedly vibrates 7,000 times per minute when use. This is also a two in one cleansing tool because it can be used to deep cleanse, as well as to massage your skin.

The silicone head have 2 sides that you can flip. The front side of the head is where you find the silicone bristles designed to unclog pores and to remove oil and dirt to make sure your skin is deeply cleanse. The silicone bristles is very gentle, it's not harsh to your skin at all!

When you flip the device, you will see the other side of the head that has a like a wavy kind of texture that you can use to massage your face.

Also, not to forget to mention the great thing about this tool -- it is cable free! This device is operated by an AA battery that is included when you purchased this device. It is also water-resistant, so you can definitely use it in the shower!
To turn on on the device, there's a button on the front side that you will use to turn on/off the device, as well as to change the speed mode of it.

PMD Beauty recommends mode 1 and 2 to deep cleanse your skin, while mode 3 and 4 are best to massage your skin.

I love how you can also use this to massage your skin! You can now massage away your skincare such as serums and moisturizers for better absorption. The silicone brush is also very easy to clean, you just need to rinse it with water after every use. There's no need to change the brush head, so that's a bonus point! But, don't worry because the silicone brush is hypoallergenic, odor-resistant and antibacterial!

I've only used this for about 3 weeks, but what can I say? I'm so in love with this cleansing tool! 2 years ago, I fell for the cleansing brush trend, but it didn't turn out well. I splurged around $200 for the cleansing brush, but it ended up breaking out my skin and clogging my pores! But fortunely, I was quick enough to take action to return the product. However though, I was still curious about all the hype of a 'smart cleansing device.' That's why, without hesitation I started to find my way into the cleansing silicone brush trend! And when I saw PMD Clean, I was immediately sold because not only I can use it to clean my face, but also to massage my face! What can you ask more for a perfect cleansing tool? And oh girl, trust me, this device will blow your mind away. The day I got this product in front of my doorstep, I quickly used it as a part of my night time skincare routine aaaand voila! The next morning, I woke up with a baby soft skin! I couldn't even believe it. The clogged pores around my cheek are completely gone, and there was a significantly less blackheads around my nose. Additionally, after 3 weeks, I can say that my skin is at its happiest stage! Baby soft skin, no more clogged pores, a minimum amount of blackheads around the nose, happy skin is happy me!

Rate: 5/5!
Highly recommended for everyone looking for a worth it cleansing tool. This device is also suitable for every skin types including sensitive skin!

To purchase this, you can get it from their website for $99.

Let's Check Out The Gooey Lip Mask That Worth a Selfie For!

Friday, July 13, 2018

As you guys see on the title, I am going to review the gooey pink lip mask that had been spreading all over the instagram, especially since the Emma Stone's selfie that was going viral. This lip mask is produced by the KNC Beauty, and it retails for $24.99 for five lip masks. So, shall we?

(Well duh, I haven't even used the lip mask but yet it's already deserving a selfie)

This is how the packaging looks like

Now, ingredient-wise, I didn't suspect any harmful ingredients. Taken from KNC official website, the ingredients are deionized water, glycerin, collagen, prunus creases (bitter cherry) extract, hyaluronic acid, rose flower oil, vitamin e. In fact, the collagen is listen as the third ingredient, which is super great because then this lip mask supposedly live up to its expectations!

Hello, everyone!

So, how was the weekend? I hope y'all are doing great.

In today's post, I am going to talk about the infamous sunscreen from Biore, which is the UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence SPF 50+ PA++++ (Yeah, I know. It such a long name for a sunscreen!).

I was always afraid to try out sunscreen because I have a really sensitive skin, and so far all of the sunscreens that I've tried ended up giving me breakouts and or tiny bumps. However, we all know that sunscreen is a vital part of our skincare regime, right? That is why, I give this baby a try.

Let's take a look on the packaging.

Another Journey To Exfoliation - Neogen Bio-Peel Gauze Peeling Lemon

Friday, June 1, 2018

Hello, everyone!

In today's post I'm going to talk about my current go-to exfoliator. I've been using this product for about half a year now, and I had purchased this product twice since the first time I bought it. So, why did I keep repurchasing this exfoliator?

First of all, let's all take a look at the packaging.

It comes in a huge glass container that is definitely not travel friendly. And I have to admit that it's a bit heavy.

An Introduction To a Gentle Exfoliant - Tatcha Classic Rice Enzyme Powder

Friday, May 25, 2018

Hello, everyone!

In today's post I am going to talk about one of the most gentle exfoliant that I encountered about a few months ago. I was having a weekly grocery shopping at Costco when suddenly something caught my attention.. how did I not know that Costco is selling Tatcha's products?! (and it was way cheaper than the original price!). I immediately grabbed the classic rice enzyme powder by Tatcha, and it was an impulse buying. So, let's find out if that choice was a regret or a satisfaction!

In terms of the packaging, I think Tatcha does it again with the simplicity. The white packaging that shaped almost like a tea cup with a lid looks very simple yet still luxurious.

Thursday, May 17, 2018

Hello, everyone!

It's been a long time since the last time I posted here. Sorry for being MIA for far too long, school has been very intense for these past few months~ I am getting my associate degree in science this year, which I'm very excited about! That is why I feel like 2018 goes by suuuper fast, I feel like it's just the beginning, but it's May already! How are you guys doing?

Anyway, I really excited to introduce you to one of the most luxurious moisturizer that I've ever tried. If you are looking for a moisturizer that is unlike any other moisturizer, especially if you have combination skin like me and wants to have a lightweight, but hydrating moisturizer.. then, this might be the moisturizer that you've been looking for!

The Water Cream by Tatcha

I've been using this moisturizer for about 3 months now, and I AM TOTALLY IN LOVE! It feels very luxurious, very lightweight, but also very hydrating. It glides on smoothly on the skin, and a little goes along the way. You just need a pea sized of it, and you're good to go! It also absorbs really well into the skin, and it doesn't feel filmsy or whatsoever.
